Description: Taiwan city water pipe 1,650mm hot-tapping and line stopping, executed by Japan Cosmo, in Taipei City, Taiwan. It’s the biggest pipe engineering under pressure without impact of citizen’s water supply in Taiwan. Background: Due to new MRT line expansion occupied by city water 1,650mm pipe, it’s located nearby Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall MRT station, city water pipe need to be relocated. After 10 years study with Taiwan Water Co., Continental Engineering Co. and Siang Tai Water Engineering Co., Taipei city government decided to select hot-tapping and line stopping to re-locate pipe.
